Lakewood Health System announced it will continue to serve patients with Unicare insurance coverage. Due to recent policy changes, some area healthcare providers are no longer accepting Unicare, a Medicare Advantage Plan. In some cases, specialists who visit Lakewood Health System from other healthcare systems are unable to accept Unicare.
In order to provide convenient, comprehensive care, Lakewood Health System accepts other Medicare Advantage Plans in addition to Unicare.
