Four people were involved in a crash on Todd County Road 11 on Sunday, Nov. 14.
Wyatt Wilder-Pettit, 20, of Wadena, and his passenger, Andrea Wiese, of rural Verndale, were in a 2000 Chevrolet Suburban when Wilder-Pettit lost control of the vehicle, striking a 1991 Chevrolet pickup head-on, according to the Todd County Sheriff's Office.
The occupants of the pickup, Steven O'Keefe, of rural Verndale, and Chris Mayhew, of Buffalo, Minn., were both taken via Staples Ambulance to the Staples hospital. Wilder-Pettit and Wiese were not hurt, the sheriff's office said.
Both vehicles were total losses. The crash happened around 6 a.m. north of Thorn Apple Road.
The Staples Police Department and Verndale Fire and Rescue assisted at the scene.
