A male and female were arrested Thursday night after Park Rapids law enforcement officials were notified of people in car pointing a gun at individuals on Main street.
According to Park Rapids Police Chief Terry Eilers, a witness notified dispatch of the incident at 7:53 p.m. and followed the white Ford Focus after it left Main.
Sheriff's deputies, police and State Troopers intercepted the car as it was heading south on Co. Rd. 81, the car stopping on the north side of Wal-Mart.
Officers conducted a "felony stop," with guns drawn.
A male and female were taken into custody. A .32 caliber gun was found by the passenger seat as well as illegal drugs, according to Eilers.

The two were to be formally charged late Friday morning.
