County Highway 4 along Mason Brothers in Wadena is closed to through traffic until further notice from Harry Rich Drive to Third Street NE. The roadway was left gravel last fall after reconstruction was delayed. It's now in poor driving condition from the rain and snow melt.

CSAH 4 will remain gravel through the winter as low temperatures put a stop to finishing concrete and paving work on the project. All utilities along this portion have been completed.

The new utility building in Wadena includes a 160 foot by 80 foot shop area with garage doors on either end. The entire building is lit by LED lights and is warmed by in-floor heat.

Minnesota Power staff troubleshoot the transformers at the substation to the north of Hwy 10 in Verndale Wednesday afternoon. Power went out around 1 p.m. and was expected to be back on after 5 p.m.
