The Wadena Chamber of Commerce, Convention and Visitor Bureau, and the city of Wadena are teaming up to end summer with a bang.
Starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28 at Sunnybrook Park, a celebration will be held for all Wadena residents, tornado volunteers, and anyone affected by the tornado, said Erik Osberg, president of the Wadena Chamber of Commerce.
There will be food, bands, games, inflatables, beer gardens and fireworks.
At this time, Osberg is inviting all police, fire departments, and emergency services that assisted in the recovery to come enjoy the festivities.
