Anthony D. Schiller, 57, of Wadena died April 6, 2006, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

He and twin brother, Larry, were born Oct. 1, 1948, in Wadena to Philip and Mary Jane (Ogden) Schiller. He graduated from Wadena High School in 1966, then went on to earn a degree in electronics from Wadena Technical College. He was known for his kindness, loud voice and good sense of humor. Throughout his life he participated in athletics such as basketball, baseball, football, bowling and golf. As he grew older, he enjoyed watching sports, especially ones in which his children participated. He loved spending time with his family and friends, including his grandchildren.

His funeral was at 2 p.m. April 12 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wadena with the Rev. Jon Larson officiating. Burial was in the Wadena Cemetery. Honorary casketbearers were his bowling team and the Huntersville Horseflies 3rd Base Line. Johnson Memorial Home of Wadena was in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Jane of Wadena; fiancée, Jane, of Wadena; one daughter, Tonya (Quentin) Roth of Duluth; two sons, Phillip (Katie) of Fargo, N.D., and Matt (Claire) of Burnsville; two sisters, Linda Buising of Burnsville and Mary Kay (Tim) Wohlert of Wadena; two brothers, Philip (Karen) of Eagan, and Larry (Mary Beth) of Wilmar; and two grandchildren, Madeleine and Lydia.

He was preceded in death by his father, Philip Schiller.
