Terry Wayne Rodekuhr, 72, of Minneapolis, formerly of Deer Creek, passed away Oct. 18, 2007.

He was born and raised in Deer Creek, graduating from high school in 1953. He was a founding member of Paralyzed Veterans of America, Minnesota chapter, where he served as treasurer in 1992 and on the board from 1993-2006. He was a life member and a past quartermaster of the Golden Valley VFW and founding member of Beaverbrook-Tri-County Sportsman Club.

A memorial service was held Oct. 22 at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel. Interment is at Fort Snelling.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; daughters, Tracy Itao and Tanya Rodekuhr; son, Ty Rodekuhr; two grandchildren; an uncle, Melvin Lehman of Wadena; sister, Marilyn Martinson; as well as a niece, a nephew and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vern and Bernice Rodekuhr; and brother, Billy.
