The stop light at 2nd St. SW will be continuous green for east/west traffic on U.S. Highway 10 through Wadena Sunday to help the flow of WE Fest traffic as people leave the music festival from Detroit Lakes.
This will begin at 9 a.m. and last until 5 or 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9. The light will not cycle for north/south bound traffic. This is to lessen traffic backing up through Wadena. There will be barricades on 2nd St. SW at Highway 10 and Aldrich Avenue. An officer will set up the barricades in the morning and take them down in the evening.
This has been done for the last few years and it has helped traffic flow through the city.
