Fergus Falls singer and songwriter Dave Stoddard will team up with east coast guitarist and singer/songwriter Dave Glaser at Wadena's Depot at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23.

Stoddard is one of Minnesota's most decorated songwriters. You may have heard him play at local venues or festivals, or one of his many appearances on Minnesota Public Radio. He's done shows with people as diverse as Leon Russell, Juice Newton, Rik Emmett, John McCutcheon, Pat Donohue, Karen Mal, Lou and Peter Berryman, and now (thoroughly confirming him as a unapologetic name dropper), David Glaser.

Glaser's songs are lush, evocative, and full of imagery -- like an album of snapshots from his rich journey. An evening with Glaser is a rollercoaster ride of style, emotion and genre; you can expect everything from contemporary singer/songwriter fare to traditional offerings, and many shades in between. Glaser's fluent guitar and mandolin skills have made him a sought after side man, studio musician, and guitar teacher. He performs regularly with Dan Navarro, Stephanie Corby, and Bob Sima, among others. Glaser offers a comprehensive guitar and mandolin workshop on many of his tour stops. He's played Madison Square Garden and with folks like Morris Day, Luther Vandross, Isley Jasper Isley, Peabo Bryson and many others.

Tickets are available by calling (218) 385-3339. The concert is sponsored by the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center. More details may be found at www.kulcher.org .
