Stephen Paul Koch, 66, of Walker, formerly of Wadena, passed away Nov. 21, 2007, at Stille Haven Hus in Walker.
He was born to Meinrod and Aurelia Koch (Walters) on Oct. 13, 1941 in Wadena. He attended St. Ann's School and graduated from Wadena High School. He enjoyed all outdoor activities including hunting and fishing. His gentle nature and good humor will be greatly missed.
The memorial mass will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Wadena with the Rev. Donald Wagner as celebrant. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Wadena. Arrangements are with Johnson Memorial Home in Wadena ( www.johnsonmemorialhome.com ).
Survivors include his mother; brother, Michael (Martha) of Minneapolis; sisters, Mary Adams, of Nevis, Gail (Darwin) Matter of Milwaukee, Wis., Katharine (Gary) Skon of Pittsville, Wis., and Madeleine Koch of St. Cloud; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
