The Verndale School District approved the hire of Angie Orsburn at a special meeting Jan. 19 to fill the vacant 7-12 special education position. She recently completed her degree at St. Cloud State University and resides in Brainerd.
The position was previously held by Justin Edin, who submitted a letter of resignation to Verndale Superintendent Paul Brownlow Oct. 23.
