Wadena-Deer Creek High School seventh-graders built spaghetti towers in their Integrated Science class on Sept. 11. Using raw spaghetti, mini-marshmallows and one piece of Scotch tape, students had to work together to construct a fragile tower of pasta. Teacher Dawn Paurus said the exercise teaches the students problem solving and teamwork skills.
