A 17-year-old Sebeka girl was killed Monday when the 1992 Pontiac Bonneville she was driving collided head-on with a Freightliner semi-truck on Highway 71 in Red Eye Township, four miles north of Sebeka.
Whitney R. Pajari, 17, was traveling north when her car crossed the centerline at 10:51 a.m. and struck the semi driven by Dale D. Bain, 48, of Wadena. Bain sustained non life-threatening injuries.
Assisting at the scene were Tri-County Ambulance, the Sebeka Fire Department, the DNR, the Sebeka Police Department, the Wadena County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
