The Wadena County Sheriff's Office was called for a motor vehicle crash in section 10 of Red Eye Township around 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Nov. 26.
The crash occurred when a 2006 Ford pickup, driven by Tyler Ament, 18, of rural Menahga, lost control on ice while traveling eastbound on County Road 13. Ament's vehicle entered the ditch and rolled before coming to a rest. Ament suffered only minor injuries in the crash and the Sheriff's Office believes this to be a result of a seat belt being properly worn.
The Wadena County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by the Minnesota State Patrol, Menahga Police Department, Tri-County Ambulance and K & K Towing.
