A Raymond, Minn., man was killed in a one-vehicle crash in Todd County, and men from Verndale and Atwater, Minn., were injured in the accident.

The Todd County Sheriff's Department said Scott Allen Denny, 48, formerly of Verndale, died when he was ejected in a one-vehicle rollover on Todd County Road 23 in Bartlett Township.

He was a 1979 graduate of Bertha-Hewitt High School. According to his obituary, he was a skilled horseman, managing and training his race horses. His dream was to race "All 4 Shirley," his pacer, named after his mother. During the summer months he would travel to surrounding states giving children pony rides.

The funeral service is set for 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Wadena.

Also injured in the accident were Joshua Richard Denny of Verndale and Justin Allen Denny of Atwater, Minn., the Todd County Sheriff's Office said.
