Racing time

Ten Wadena Cub Scouts competed in the annual Pinewood Derby Sunday, Feb. 19.

Scouts from Wadena Pack 54 raced cars that they created, sanded and painted at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wadena Sunday afternoon.

Each Scout races two times down the aluminum track and averages their two times.

All of the Wadena Cub Scouts that raced on Sunday will be moving on to the District Pinewood Derby. The top three from each level advance to the district race that will be March 18 in Wadena.

The fastest car of the day went to Blake Haverkamp.
