Times, locations and event details are being finalized for an All-School Reunion next June for anyone who attended school in Wadena and Deer Creek.
The reunion is scheduled for June 17-20 and is for "anybody and everybody" who attended school in Wadena and Deer Creek or knew someone who did, event organizer Janice Stahl said. People from surrounding towns are welcome. You don't have to be a high school graduate to come, she emphasized.
Stahl is organizing the event with class of 1958 classmate Carol Taggart.
Organizers are looking for recent high school graduates to get involved, Taggart said. They are compiling a list of contact people for each class, but are missing quite a few classes from 1996 to 2009.
"We really need help from that group," she said.

Four days of events are tentatively planned. A parade will march through town Thursday evening and all classes are encouraged to enter a float. Airplane rides will give people an aerial tour of the area for a cost Friday and Saturday. Music events, a Family Fun Day, meals and a community church service are all in the works.
The All-School Reunion celebration is planned from 5 p.m. to midnight Saturday at Sunnybrook Park. Each of the park's nine shelters will host a 10-year period of classes. Plans include food stands and beer gardens.
Visitors can register from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday of the reunion at Wadena-Deer Creek High School. Tours of the schools and auditorium will be given.
Pre-registration, including a small fee, is encouraged to help organizers know how many people are attending. A registration form along with a tentative schedule are available at www.wadenapj.com .
