NJPA announces Lyscio as new executive director

The National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) announced the selection of Todd Lyscio as its new executive director.

Lyscio was selected after several stages of interviewing, including an open house with NJPA staff members.

"The NJPA Board is excited to have Todd Lyscio coming on as executive director. Mr. Lyscio brings a great deal of diverse experience which will immediately benefit NJPA's members," said board chairman Wayne Wolden.

Lyscio comes to NJPA with 26 years of experience in the field of public education. Most recently, his work as the director of community education for the Brainerd schools has allowed him the opportunity to expand connections between the school district, local college and city governments with various joint powers agreements and other collaborations. He is a 1983 graduate of Hamline University, with a master's degree from St. Cloud State University and his superintendent licensure from the University of Minnesota. Todd and his wife Connie, also an educator with the Brainerd schools, reside in Baxter, with their two sons, Tom and Mike.

NJPA is a service cooperative established through legal statute in 1978. Locally, NJPA serves Todd, Wadena, Crow Wing, Cass and Morrison counties, providing collaborative resources based on the area's shared needs. NJPA serves more than 30,000 Members throughout the nation with competitively awarded purchasing solutions from industry-leading vendors.
