Adult survivors of suicide loss support group to meet June 16

Tri-County Health Care has an adult survivors of suicide loss support group to help those in the area affected by suicide. The monthly support group will meet on Tuesday, June 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the Wesley Conference Room at Tri-County Health Care.

The monthly adult survivors of suicide loss support group meets the third Tuesday of the month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Wesley Conference Room at Tri-County Health Care. The confidential support group provides a safe place for those who have experienced this type of loss to find support, share their story and learn ways to cope. The adult survivors of suicide loss support group is open to all adult family members and friends of a loved one who has completed suicide.

Memory loss support group for caregivers to meet June 11

Tri-County Health Care (TCHC), Fair Oaks Lodge, Legacy Home Care/Hospice and the National Alzheimer's Association will host the next memory loss support group for caregivers meeting Thursday, June 11 starting at 2:30 p.m. in the Wesley Conference Room, located on the lower level of Tri-County Health Care.

The memory loss support group for caregivers meets the second Thursday of each month at 2:30 p.m. at TCHC. Please visit the front desk for conference room location. Anyone with an interest in understanding more about memory loss is invited to attend. Support group members are not expected to attend every meeting to be part of the group. Wadena Area United Way seeks additional agencies

The Wadena Area United Way will soon be planning the budget for the drive that begins in the fall of 2015. Agencies or programs who provide services and/or assistance to area residents and who are nonprofit and have a 501(3)c designation are welcome to submit applications to the United Way board. If the group isn't currently on the funded list, application forms may be requested by calling Gary Sellman, Budget Chairman, at (218) 631-1414 any week day. Applications must be submitted by July 15.
