Two suspects are pending charges in connection to a burglary at Wadena Bowling Lanes in March, according to the Wadena Police Department.
Wadena Sgt./Investigator Tom Crawford said law enforcement found items from the Wadena Bowling Lanes burglary in the suspects vehicle after a routine traffic stop, and the suspects have been interviewed. Charges are pending in Wadena County District Court, Crawford said.
The suspects also have been connected to thefts in other jurisdictions, he said.
The police department had been investigating the burglary at the bowling alley, where thieves pried open an automated teller machine and took money. The burglary was March 27. A suspect or suspects broke into the building and pried open an automated teller machine and pull tab machine, according to police reports. Also, money was taken from secure cabinets and a safe.
