A newborn baby apparently died of a medical problem near Sebeka Tuesday night.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office responded around 9:23 p.m. to a report that a baby who was born Sept. 22 who was vomiting and having trouble breathing.
Sebeka Rescue and Wadena Ambulance responded to the location and took the child to Tri-County Hospital, where the infant was pronounced dead.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death and has ordered an autopsy by the Ramsey County Coroner's Office. However, all preliminary factors indicate a medical issue as the cause of death, the sheriff's office said.
