While votes remain to be counted, it's highly likely Mark Murdock, R-Ottertail, has won a second term in the Minnesota House.
Murdock held a wide lead in Otter Tail County with 6,309 votes to challenger Pete Phillips' 2,946. Eighty-nine of 91 precincts in Otter Tail had reported.
Wadena County had only a fraction of its vote in. With six of 24 precincts reporting, Murdock led Phillips 615-331.
The former Wadena City Council member and DFL challenger conceded the race to Murdock.
"I want to thank everyone for supporting me," Phillips said. "We ran a good race and would not change a thing. Mark Murdock ran a good race too and I wish him well."
