Approximately 850 people attended the 20th annual February Festival of Health at M State, Wadena campus on Feb. 6.

This free event featured 85 exhibits from local agencies promoting health and wellness. In addition, several booths provided free health screenings, such as blood pressure, glucose, pulmonary function, video otoscopy, body fat analysis and more.

"The health fair continues to grow each year. This was the highest number of booths since the event's inception 20 years ago," said Roxy Hejhal, TCH community relations manager. "February Festival of Health is a great event to learn about the many resources available in our community."

Entertainment was also part of the festivities, featuring Just For Kix dance groups, Tae Kwon Do demonstrations, and winners of the Wadena's Got Talent Contest.

Donna Kresien, Wadena, was the winner of this year's grand prize, "A Evening Out on the Town," which included a one-night's stay at the AmericInn in Wadena, a $25 gift certificate at The Uptown restaurant and two movie passes for the Cozy Theatre.
