Woman, 72, dies in crash near Breckenridge

Her vehicle collided with a semi on icy roads Wednesday morning.

BRECKENRIDGE, Minnesota — A 72-year-old Fergus Falls woman died in a crash with a semi on Wednesday, April 20, just after 9 a.m. in Breckenridge.

Her name will be released on Thursday.

Roads were covered with snow and ice at the time of the crash, said the Minnesota State Patrol.

The patrol said her 2006 Jeep was westbound on Minnesota Highway 210 when her vehicle lost control and spun out, crossing the center line in front of a semi in the eastbound lane.

The crash took place near the highway's intersection with Minnesota Highway 9.


The driver of the 2022 semi was a 56-year-old Milnor, N.D., man. His condition wasn't released by the state patrol.
