The 2016 Twins Winter Caravan will make an evening stop at the Wadena-Deer Creek Elementary Gym on Monday, Jan. 18.

Scheduled to appear are Twins general manager/former Twins infielder Paul Molitor, pitcher Casey Fien, centerfielder Byron Buxton, broadcaster/Staples native Dick Bremer and of course, TC Bear.

The public is invited to attend this free event with ballpark food (hotdog, chips and beverage) served at 5:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria, program at 6:30 p.m. and autographs at 7:30 p.m.

KWAD/KNSP A.M. Radio will be co-hosting this event with Wadena-Deer Creek Schools. The station has broadcasted Twins games on KWAD/KNSP for more than 50 years; to get the opportunity to see current and former players is a thrill for people of all ages.

The Twins Caravan has made four stops at WDC Schools in the last five years - 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015. According to KWAD/KKWS/K106 general manager Rick Freitag, a Twins representative said the Twins Caravan likes the enthusiastic reception they have received over past years here in Wadena and that's why they keep coming back.
