A Menahga man was charged Oct. 5 in Wadena County District Court with interfering with a 911 call and three counts of domestic assault after an altercation about missing magazines.
Mark Allan Fearing, 20, was questioned by police after two calls to 911 by a woman at the residence were interrupted by Fearing. Dispatchers reported hearing the woman say "ouch" just prior to the line going dead.
The fight started when other people in the home were cleaning up and threw out some of Fearing's magazines, court documents said. In the altercation, Fearing allegedly punched a woman in the face and kicked her in the groin, among other things.
