Gary and Kay Ann Myers of Highmore, South Dakota announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Myers to Brent Lorentz, son of Al and Kathy Lorentz of Wadena. The bride is a 1999 graduate of Highmore Hishg School, a 2003 graduate of Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and a 2006 graduate of the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis. She is currently employed as an attorney at Malkerson Gunn Martin LLP in Minneapolis where she practices business and commercial litigation. The groom is a 1998 graduate of Wadena-Deer Creek High School, a 2003 graduate of the University of North Dakota and a 2006 graduate of Duke Law School in Durham, North Carolina. He is currently employed as an attorney at Winthrop & Weinstine in Minneapolis where he practices civil and intellectual property litigation. The couple will be married on November 6, 2010 at the Basilica of St. Mary in downtown Minneapolis after their wedding.
