WADENA — It may seem odd to celebrate Snow Days during the greatest snow melt week of the year, but whatever the students and staff of Wadena-Deer Creek are doing, let's hope they keep on doing it.
The tradition of Snow Days was back with great fervor as students kicked off the week Monday, March 14, dressing up as Disney characters and taking each other on in a dodgeball tournament. Tuesday brought a "Decades" dress up day which spilled nicely into the talent show. The talent show brought a great mix of young and older to sing, dance, play music, even show off dog tricks.

Wednesday fun continues with "anything but a backpack" day. Students have to find some others way of carrying all their books and such to classes.
Thursday offered a different dress-up theme for every grade and for staff. The day was set to end with "muscle volleyball."
Friday wraps up the week of fun in the sun with a return to more warm weather gear for
"Flannel Friday." Muscle volleyball was set to continue for middle schoolers. The grand finale is to include a neon dance for ninth - 12th graders from 9 p.m. to midnight.
