WADENA — The following are weather related cancellations, closures or postponements in our area for Friday, May 13.

  • The Bertha Clinic will be closed today due to power outages.
  • The Wadena-Deer Creek, Verndale and Bertha-Hewitt schools are closed today due to power outages and damage in the area.
  • W-DC sporting events are on as scheduled.
  • The 'Shot in the Dark' Charity Golf Tournament has been postponed until August 27.

Wadena County 4-H present sunny outlook for 2022; county pays $167,000 for 40-acre parcel along road route
Members of the Wadena County Board of Commissioners listened to a presentation about the growth in the county's 4-H club over the past year and purchased a 40-acre piece of land for nearly four-times the assessed value during their most recent meeting on May 17.
