Car fire extinguished near Walmart

Wadena fire fighters quickly stopped the fire but the car was a total loss.

WADENA — Wadena fire fighters quickly extinguished a car on fire near the intersection of Second Street NW and Juniper Ave., in Wadena on Tuesday, Jan. 25.
The report of the fire was made at 5:07 p.m., when visible flames were seen coming from the vehicle's engine area.
Crews were on scene within minutes and put out the fire. No one was injured, but the car was a total loss. Twelve Wadena fire fighters responded with Wadena Police also on scene.
