STAPLES — The community is invited to attend the annual Central Lakes College Ag & Energy Research Center Field Day from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Friday Aug. 26, at the Ag & Energy Center, 26505 County Road 2, Staples. All activities are free and open to the public.

All Day Events
Drone flights and a tractor ride n’ drive.
Morning tours

  • 10-10:45 a.m.: RCCP and SWCD 60” cover crop
  • 10-11:45 a.m.: Local foods tour
  • 11-11:45am: LCCMR Projects – cover crops; hemp, kid’s garden and activities
  • Noon.: Lunch
  • 12:30-1:30 p.m.: Lunch program
  • 1:30-2:30 p.m. Living Legacy Garden ice cream social and garden tours
  • 1:30-3 p.m.: Crow Wing River Forage Council Tour
