'Jail' fundraiser

M State-Wadena cosmetology students Tammy Haag, left, Julie Sydow and Jill Pugsley will be offering "jail time" to people who wish to help defer the costs of sending the M State-Wadena team to Skills USA state competition March 24-27 in Bloomington. The cosmetology department will host the fundraising event Monday and Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m. The "inmates" contact friends and supporters and ask them to pledge money to gain their "release." The goal is to raise $3,000. Students in many different fields benefit from the event.
