AmericInn manager Kevin Lupkes raises the $1,000 Hot Shot winner Kevin Tumbergs arm in celebration after the halftime finals of the AmericInns Hot Shot promotion. Kevin Tumberg, a 14-year-old eighth-grader made two of the three shots to win the $1,000. AmericInn matched that amount to the Backcourt Club. Tumberg beat out nine other finalists and was the only one to make a basket from half court. Tumberg had three chances to make two half-court shots and he did so, beating out nine other finalists to win the big bucks.
