The Wadena-Deer Creek girls golf team finished fifth at the Park Rapids Invitational on May 3 with 411 points.
Grand Rapids won the team title with 344 points. Staples-Motley finished in the runner-up spot, just four strokes behind.
Tracy Gustafson shot a 93 to lead WDC with Ashley Fix seven strokes behind. Amy Brown and Katie Anderson shot 109, while Kayla Krause had 122 and Kayla Moorhead, 138.
Gustafson shot a 92 at the Fergus Falls Invitational on Friday to lead the Wolverines to seventh place. The Wolverines had 409 team points.
Fix and Brown finished with 103 and 104, while Anderson carded 110, Moorhead, 137; and Krause, 138.

The Wolverines have another busy week starting with the WDC Invitational at Whitetail Run on Tuesday. They next travel to Menahga today (Thursday) for an invitational before the Cardinal Invitational on Saturday.
