Fresh-baked donation

The employees of Sara Lee Bakery in Detroit Lakes held a donation program for Wadena-Deer Creek Schools to help support their losses. Patrons received a free loaf of bread in exchange for contributions they made. Bakery employee Sandy Lubitz delivered bags of school supplies to the elementary office and are available to all district teachers for classroom use. Shown is High School Science Instructor Sheri Nyhus (left) who is now housed in the garden level of the elementary school and Elementary Office Administrative Assistant Vicki Pearson.
