Frazee, Minn., man in critical condition after three-vehicle crash

A 71-year-old Frazee man is in critical condition at a Fargo hospital after the vehicle he was driving hit a semitrailer and a car Monday on U.S. Highway 10 just east of Wadena, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.

A 71-year-old Frazee man is in critical condition at a Fargo hospital after the vehicle he was driving hit a semitrailer and a car Monday on U.S. Highway 10 just east of Wadena, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.

Merle R. Meyer was trying to pass another vehicle in the westbound lane when he sideswiped the eastbound semi and car at about 8 p.m. near Harry Rich Drive, the patrol stated in a news release.

Meyer was the only person hurt in the crash. He was taken to Tri-County Hospital in Wadena and then airlifted to Essentia Health in Fargo.
