Brigetta Berg and Courtney Volkmann were named to the All-Mid-State Conference girls' basketball squad for the 2008-09 season.
Wadena-Deer Creek players earning honorable mention included Kendra Grothmann and Jordan Moenkedick.
Other all-conference choices included Morgan Lof, Taylor Tschider and Abby Hoganson (Detroit Lakes), Mindy Howard and Emily Lueck (Pequot Lakes), Nikki Pearson, Liz Willgohs and Brooke Simonson (Staples-Motley), Sam Stansfield and Katie Swarnhorst (Crosby-Ironton) and Mindy Lawrence (Park Rapids).
Rounding out the all-conference honorable mention picks were Dani Labine and Robin Hutchinson (Detroit Lakes), Kylie Beltz and Mattie Lueck (Pequot Lakes), Caitlin Robinson and Ashley Lisson (Staples-Motley), Christina Madson and Jana Anderson (Crosby-Ironton) and Hannah Wolf (Park Rapids).
Lof was chosen the Mid-State Conference's Most Valuable Player.
