Engagement: Peterson/Bernt

Steve and Nancy Peterson of Wadena, MN announce the engagement of their daughter Katherine Peterson to Christopher Bernt, son of Robert and Kristine Bernt of Spalding, Neb., and Melinda Ryan of Inland, Neb. The bride is a 2004 graduate of Wadena-Deer Creek and a 2009 graduate of NDSU. She is a customer service assistant at Farm Credit Services in Dickinson, N.D. The groom is a 2004 graduate of Wheeler Central High School in Bartlett, Neb., and a 2005 graduate of Northeast Community College, Norfolk, Neb. He is a welder at Darby's Welding in Dickinson, N.D. The couple will be married on August 21, 2010 at Saint Michael's Catholic Church in Spalding, Neb. A reception will be held September 4, 2010 at the Pizza Ranch in Wadena.
