Egg-citing hunting

Several hundred children found Easter eggs during a hunt Saturday at the softball complex south of Wadena. The Wadena Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored the Easter egg hunt, which featured nearly 9,000 eggs with candy and other prizes inside. The eggs were scooped up within minutes as eager kids in three age groups found the eggs. The softball complex allowed more room to spread out the eggs for the three age groups on Tobys Hill, between rows of trees and on a small field for the youngest kids.
