Minnesota State University will award degrees to an estimated 500 students on Dec. 20. The commencement ceremony will take place at Nemzek Fieldhouse. The secondary 1 p.m. ceremony will also award degrees to about 115 students.

MSUM alumna, Lisa Borgen will be the commencement speaker. She has earned a degree in criminal justice and is Vice President of Administration at American Crystal Sugar Co. Previously she was a Judge of the District Court in Minnesota, serving Clay County.
