Earl F. Vokoun, 76, died May 14, 2006, at home in Watertown, Wis.

He was born to Fred and Elsie (Johnson) Vokoun on Dec. 2, 1929, in Bancroft, Iowa. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953 and graduated from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown. He married Faye Benson-Kuha July 17, 1982, at Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown. The couple lived in Wadena for 10 years. He worked as a mechanic/bus driver at International Harvester in Austin, Minn., and at Maranatha Watertown and Bethel Baptist churches in Sellersville, Penn.

Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. May 19 at Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown with the Rev. Dr. Robert J. Loggans officiating. Burial will be at Ebenezer Cemetery, Watertown. Pederson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife; daughters, Denise (Matt) Graziano of Estonia, Wis., Debra (Ed) Herlihy of Northfield, Minn., and Twyla Kuha of Northfield, Minn.; son, Craig (Monica) Kuha of Berrian Spring, Mich.; seven grandchildren; sisters, Lillian Leftwich of Colona, Ill., Ethel Irvin, Moline, Ill., and Ruth (Kent) Harris of Sellersville, Penn.; brother, James (Beverly) Vokoun of Mustang, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Bill Leftwich.
