Officials have identified the victim in a fatal boating crash on Devils Lake. The victim is 26-year-old April Stenger from Detroit Lakes.
Sheriff Steve Nelson says Stenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Four others were hurt, three with critical injuries, and transported to hospitals in the area.
One person is dead and multiple others were injured in a boating accident early Sunday morning on Devils Lake.
The Ramsey County Sheriff's Department said just after midnight they responded to Haybale Bay about five miles east of the city of Devils Lake.
A group was on the water when their boat struck what's believed to be a tree that was sticking out of the lake.
