A Deer Creek woman and a five-year-old boy were injured Wednesday night in a one-vehicle car accident southwest of New York Mills according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office.
Jennifer Magnuson, 31, was driving south on Highway 67 at approximately 5 p.m. in a 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis when she over-corrected in a curve, went into a ditch and rolled several times.
Magnuson was wearing a seat belt. The five-year-old was in a booster seat at the time of the accident. They were transported by Tri-County Ambulance to Perham Health. Magnuson had pain all over body. The boy had a cut on his left hand. Their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
