ALDRICH-A man found dead after being ejected from a vehicle Thursday morning about 10 miles north of Aldrich has been identified.
The adult male driver, identified as Austin Bacon, 19, of rural Sebeka, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on scene, Thursday, Dec. 6, according to a Wadena County Sheriff's Office news release.
The Wadena County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call of a motor vehicle crash at 7:37 a.m. near the intersection of County Road 26 and 182nd Street in Section 20 of Bullard Township. County Road 26 curves from the west to the north at that location.
Through the investigation, it was determined that Bacon's vehicle was southbound on County Road 26, north of 182nd St. Bacon's vehicle left the roadway on the east side of County Road 26 and rolled, ejecting Bacon from the vehicle. Bacon is not believed to have been wearing a seatbelt, according to the news release.
Aldrich is about 10 miles southeast of Wadena.
