The Wadena County Board tabled a decision to authorize a $15,628 door and window replacement project for the highway department.

"I just don't feel comfortable authorizing it at this point," said Commissioner Mary Harrison.

Auditor Char West had just recommended the board freeze some spending for now due to the county's cash balance.

"I think we would have to table this until after we have this discussion with the department heads and we come up some kind of a policy that we can agree on," Harrison said.

Ulring received three quotes for the project. Haataja Contracting, Inc., of Menahga had the low bid.
