A candidate debate and forum sponsored by the Wadena Chamber of Commerce, KWAD/KNSP Radio and the Wadena Pioneer Journal will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 27 at Memorial Auditorium in Wadena.
Candidates invited to the event include:
- Minnesota House 10B contestants Tim Nieminen, DFL--Wadena, and Mark Murdock, R--Perham.
- Wadena County Commissioner candidates Mary Harrison, Rodney Bounds, Ralph Miller and Jim Hofer.
- Wadena mayoral candidates Wayne Wolden and Mike Burcham.
- Wadena city council candidates Kay Browne, Gillette Kempf and Don Niles.
- Wadena-Deer Creek School Board candidates Dan Toedter, Steve Techam, John Crandall and Peter Hayes.
The debate will be live at Memorial Auditorium, and is free to the public to attend. The event will also be broadcast live on KWAD Radio, 920-AM.
