Kindergartners and first-graders at St. Ann's School are learning about the life cycle of a butterfly.
Mrs. Steffen's classroom has several chrysalises in a special butterfly tent that students can observe. During reading time, they stopped to watch a butterfly emerge from its chrysalis. By the end of the day they were able to release the butterfly outside.
