The Wadena County Historical Society will hold a book-signing event by Wadena author Paul Sailer, who wrote "The Oranges are Sweet."
It will be held at the WCHS on Thursday, Dec. 15 from 4:35-7 p.m.
At Book World in Brainerd, the listing of, "The Oranges are Sweet" is the number two top selling book. At the WCHS "The Oranges are Sweet" is also the number two top selling book.
The Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame's chairman, Tom Schellinger, called Paul Sailer to accept their 2012 Writer of the Year award to be given at their spring banquet at the Thunderbird Hotel in Bloomington.
Coffee and cookies will be served during the book signing. It is free and open to the public.

Sailer tells the tale of World War II fighter pilot Don Beerbower which is a serious historical book of his life.
