A 16-year-old bicyclist was treated at Tri-County Hospital after colliding with an SUV on Tuesday, Sept. 30.
The Wadena Police Department said the boy, whose name was not released, was southbound on 2nd Street SW at the intersection with Irving Avenue when he failed to stop for a stop sign. The bicyclist ran into the SUV.
The boy was treated at the scene for leg and head injuries and then taken by ambulance to Tri-County Hospital for further treatment. The 69-year-old woman who was driving the SUV was not hurt.
