Wadena-Deer Creek School summer worker and 2009 WDC graduate Cody Bain hauls band instruments retrieved from the storm-damaged high school on June 30. Most of the instruments and marching band uniforms were rescued from the school. However, some of the instruments did sustain damage from the storm, said Ken Nelson, WDC band instructor. But Nelson was relieved to get the majority of the instruments out of the school.
